Born to City dwellers, she would never know her true lineage. Her Birth mother hid her among some furs and such as they had been attacked by rogue tribesmen. Tehya found her when she came upon the carnage. Bringing her back to Tribe, she asked the Ubar if she could keep the child. Given permission, she was adopted. Named Aponi Chine.
She was blonde, with blue eyes. A complete contrast to those she was raised with. But it did not matter. As children, there was no prejudice. She was one of them. Then Tehya, pulling more and more away from those of Tribe, took her daughter and left. Toll's death had left her empty. She raised Aponi to the best of her abilities. Kept her out of the Cities Tehya had to enter to sell her goods. Never allowing her beautiful daughter to step foot within the havens of City Dwellers.
Many winters later, she grew up with her mother and brother, traveling the roads as her mother sold her leather work. At 18 she made ehr decision, she would be returning to the Plains.
It was during the journey to the northern grounds the Ubar made his decision. She was to be pierced and would from then on be called Tribe. Her dream had come true. Now she looks ahead as a Tribeswoman. Facing the hardships and joys that join with the honor of being called Tribe
Leaving her Mother and brother was the hardest thing she ever had to do. With Mutt and Jeff as escort, she crossed the plains till they were before the circle of wagons and herds. ORs soon came to meet them and so it began. Given permission to face the trials and tribulations that joined with gaining Tribe status, she met each challenge, head on.
